The four provincial capitals: L'Aquila, Chieti, Pescara, Teramo and numerous other cities, which in ancient times played a decisive role, preserve treasures of art and history, archaeological remains, museums, cathedrals, castles, aqueducts, fountains, etc., which testify to a continuous activity on the sea, in the fields, on the mountains.
